Children's Ministry

Preschoolers and Kindergarteners learn their faith lessons with fun activities and stories in Room 105 with Sue Moon and Chris Glidewell.

Grades 1-4 meet with Bobbi Bellows in Room 100.

Grades 5-8 in Room 101 during the Sunday School hour. Mike Sherman is leading the group in discussions using "Dug Down Deep".

Child care for infants and toddlers is available during Sunday School and worship in a fully staffed nursery.

Fun With God Church - “Fun With God Church” (for kids ages 3 to 10) provides an alternate worship setting for busy hands and feet during some worship services.  If you would be willing to help (in a rotation schedule), contact Gabby Smay or the church office.

First United Methodist Church Preschool 

     Four-year-old class, which meets Monday through Friday mornings, 8:45 to 11:15 a.m., is accepting children for the 2010-11 school year.  The child must be four years old by Oct. 1, 2010 and potty-trained.

     The three-year-old class is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. Child must be three years old by Oct. 1, 2011 and potty trained.

Teaching socialization and age appropriate learning skills. Certified, accredited teachers. The school year will begin the week of Labor Day. Cost: $100 per month for 3 year olds, $140 per month for 4 year olds; $25 pre-registration. Forms are in the church office. For information, call Stacie Swank.
